Come to Cromer: Bach Practitioners’ Conference, 26th September 2026
We are excited to invite Bach practitioners to celebrate what would have been Dr Bach’s 140th birthday in September.
We will gather on the nearest Saturday to his birthday in a town close to his heart – Cromer in Norfolk. As most of you will know, Dr Bach spent several months a year in Cromer between 1930 and 1934, discovering remedies and treating patients.
The theme of the conference is ‘Looking Back, Looking Forward’. During the day we will explore Dr Bach’s connections with the town – the people, the places and the remedies. But we will also look forward to the future of the remedy system – where do we want to be in 10 years time and what can we do to take the system forward into the future?
The venue for the conference is Merchants’ Place, in the heart of the community, close to one of the houses (on Brunswick Terrace) where Dr Bach lived during his time in the town.

The programme will include contributions from Judy Howard, Patricia Campbell-Parker, Lynn Macwhinnie, Tessa Jordan, Alessandra Giovino and Gwenda Kyd. There will be time for discussion in groups led by Maggie Evans and a guided walk around significant sites in the town.

Cromer is on the North Norfolk coast and is a popular tourist destination. As well as it’s link to Dr Bach, Cromer is on the so-called Deep History Coast, which is of geological significance and is famous for Cromer crabs!

If you can’t find anything suitable, there are a number of other towns nearby with good bus and train links to Cromer, including East and West Runton and Sheringham and the largest city in the region, Norwich, is under 45 minutes away by train.

Travelling to Cromer:
Train: Direct from Norwich to Cromer in approx. 45 minutes (hourly trains). Norwich is well-connected to London, Peterborough, Ely (all with links to the north, west and south), Stansted Airport, Cambridge and Ipswich. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the venue.
