Secrets of the Bach Flower Remedy Plants – One-day Workshop

Secrets of the Bach Flower Remedy Plants A one-day BC-ACE course led by Dr Gwenda Kyd BFRP with Sarah Frances Purchase BFRP, BFARP. No date planned for the next course – let me know if you’re interested!

Spend a day with the plants at the Bach Centre! When we think about the 38 Bach flower remedies, we usually focus on their indications and how we can use them to balance emotional states. However, behind these remedies lie a very special group of 36 plants which Dr Bach selected to provide the beneficial effects he was looking for.

Cichorium intybus

This one-day course focuses on these plants. Based loosely on the book ‘The Plants of Dr Bach’ and the series of blogs ‘Secrets of the Bach Flower Remedy Plants’, we will meet each plant, learn how to recognise it and get to know a little about its personality by looking at its other uses…and those of some close family members. There will also be samples of products made using the plants for you to look at. The day will be made up of classroom sessions led by Gwenda as well as time spent in the Garden and around the Centre. Weather permitting, we will have two sessions outside communing with the plants and one of these will be led by Sarah. By the end of the day, you will have a deeper connection to the plants and an understanding of how their personalities link to their use as Bach remedies. The course is open to anyone with an interest in the remedies and/or the plants. The cost of the course is £115, including lunch and refreshments at Nora’s Kitchen, within the Centre.  The course is approved by the Bach Centre under the BC-ACE programme (ref. E2C).  A certificate of attendance will be provided at the end of the course.
